Reading

I’m currently reading Showstopper about the development of Windows NT at Microsoft. I’m not reading any fiction at the moment, but the last novel I read was Pachinko which was a unique historical fiction. I like historical fiction because you pick up some bits of history too, and I am especially ignorant of Japanese and Korean history, so it was a good read for me.

Listening

I recently discovered Polyphia(from macwright.com, which is where I also stole the “Recently” idea from). I especially like Ego Death:

Misc

I was on a week-long climbing trip to El Chorro in Spain. Besides being a nice break from the Berlin winter, the climbing was also excellent– I was mostly sending routes at the 6a/6a+ level. I did get on a few 6b+’s , but couldn’t send any of them. Need to work on it some more!
